Big Bear Disposal provides a comprehensive range of commercial waste management solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses in the Big Bear Lake area. Our dependable services are designed to ensure your operations run smoothly while promoting a clean and sustainable environment.
Our commercial trash and recycling service is available to businesses located in the City of Big Bear Lake, Fawnskin, Baldwin Lake and Lake Williams only.
If you are located in Big Bear City, Sugarloaf and Erwin Lake, you are serviced by the Big Bear City Community Services District (CSD) not by Big Bear Disposal. CSD can be reached at (909) 585-2565.
Service Options
Big Bear Disposal offers a variety of container sizes and collection service frequencies to meet customer needs and the requirements of state and local ordinances. Note that state and local laws require a minimum of once per week trash service.
Our container sizes include: 64 gal. and 96 gal. carts, two (2), three (3) and four (4) cubic yard (cy) bins and roll-off containers of 10 cy and 30 cy capacity.
Big Bear Disposal collects trash seven (7) days per week in the City of Big Bear Lake and two days a week in the unincorporated County areas noted above. Currently, commercial recycling collection is provided two (2) days per week in our service areas (Mondays and/or Thursdays).
Service levels (container size, number and frequency of collection) are custom designed based on your needs and preferences.

State and Local Requirements
Solid waste and recycling services are regulated by many state and local laws. The three most significant laws addressing service requirements are Assembly Bill 341 (AB 341), Assembly Bill 1826 (AB 1826) and Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383). Big Bear Disposal will use this website to post changes to laws and regulations that will affect your services as they are enacted.
Presently, Big Bear Lake and the surrounding County areas are exempted from this particular SB 1383 requirement due to the elevation of the City and the low population in the surrounding County.
