The 4th of July is one of the busiest and most festive weekends of the year in Big Bear Lake. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue, welcoming visitors, or heading out to enjoy the lake, here’s one less thing to worry about: your trash and recycling collection is running right on schedule.

There will be no changes to residential or commercial collection over the holiday weekend. Your pickup day stays exactly the same. Just set your carts out by 6 AM on your regular collection day, and our crews will be there as always.

Our office will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of Independence Day. We’ll reopen during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, the following week.
