Starting this August, there is a change to the Clean Bear Sites serving Big Bear Lake.

Clean Bear Site No. 2, located at 39690 Big Bear Boulevard, will no longer accept waste at the end of the day on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Clean Bear Site No. 1, located at 41970 Garstin Drive, will remain open to serve the City. The Clean Bear Site’s hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week.

If Site No. 2 has been your regular drop-off, Site No. 1 on Garstin Drive is where to head going forward. Everything else about how the site works stays the same, including the requirement to show proof of residency within the 92315 zip code.
