City of Big Bear Lake residents may deposit commingled recyclables in their blue recycle can and place at curbside for pick up by our truck on their designated pick-up day.

Clean Bear Site #1

Visit our Clean Bear Site on Garstin Drive for convenient "drive-in/drop-off" of newspapers, mixed paper and cardboard, as well as disposal of Electronic and Universal waste and appliances. Available to City of Big Bear Lake residents.

Recycling/Buy-Back Center

Big Bear Disposal, Inc. has a convenient beverage container recycling center at our Buy-Back Center adjacent to the Garstin Clean Bear Site. Empty California Redemption Value (CRV) containers, including plastic, aluminum and glass may be redeemed for cash. Easy access, drive-up convenience and friendly employees!
